Admission Protocol
Admission to the B.D.S. and M.D.S program shall be through; the process of counseling for admission to BDS/MDS Course in Madhya Pradesh including admissions to 100 seats of BDS/ 29 seats of MDS in this college is being undertaken through Director Medical Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh through online counseling for NEET Qualified candidates. Eligibility Criteria for B.D.S
All candidates desirous of seeking admission through the above tests must fulfill the following conditions as laid down by the Dental Council India.
- The qualifying marks in NEET examination, as prescribed by the Dental Council of India (DCI) from time to time for different categories of the candidate.
- Candidate must secure the minimum percentile in the selection test.
- Candidate must have having minimum marks in the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary, 10+2 etc.).
- Age bar as per prevailing rules.
- To be a local resident (original resident) of Madhya Pradesh. However, in second phase of counselling and subsequent steps, If the Madhya Pradesh domicile candidates are not available, for the vacant seats, this clause will automatically be considered relaxed by the Directorate of Medical Education, Govt of Madhya Pradesh.
Eligibility Criteria for M.D.S
- Selection test by DCI (NEET MDS) for the category and category of the candidate Getting the minimum percentile prescribed for.
- Passed BDS from a Dental College recognized by DCI or passed screening test from National Board of Examinations in case of passing the qualifying examination from else where in India.
- Completion of internship in DCI recognized medical college as per DCI norms.
- Permanent/temporary registration in Madhya Pradesh Dental Council.
- To be a local resident (Domicile) of Madhya Pradesh.
Under the following circumstances this qualification will automatically be relaxed:-
- The Candidate passed BDS exam from the college located in the state of Madhya Pradesh
- Second phase of counseling and subsequent steps
of the candidates registered for
of Madhya Pradesh.
In case of non-availability of Madhya pradesh domicile, this qualification will automatically be considered relaxed for the vacancies available at that time.
Diploma
For admissions to Dental Mechanics & Dental Hygienist course (Diploma) interested candidates should have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
